MIAMI BEACH — Real Housewife Countess Luann De Lesseps, took a break from her latest divorce to help out the victims of Hurricane Irma in the Florida Keys. She headed down right after a nice dinner in Miami with her reality TV star buds.
The Real Housewives of New York City star took to Instagram earlier today to show she traded in her designer duds for an American Red Cross vest and she was out delivering food with an emergency food truck.
De Lesseps made a plea for others to also lend and posted this: “Every little bit helps, everyone can lend a helping hand. Certain areas in Florida are still without running water, electricity or food from Hurricane Irma.”
Indeed, but the Countess, who’s divorcing West Palm Beach‘s Tom D’Agostino after a paltry seven months of marriage, is down in the muck to help out.
She’s a former nurse and she flew in from New York yesterday and will be in the Keys for a few days.
The trio stopped to talk to paparazzi about the state of the world today and shared their thoughts on the shooting in Las Vegas.
Apparently, the ladies had many kind and heartfelt words for the families of the victims and couldn’t understand why this keeps happening so much in America.
